Thursday
Celebrate Juneteenth and the return of summery weather in the city at everybody’s favorite adult playground. Nowadays hosts Love from the Sun, an inclusive all-day & night affair. Lovie, Honey Bun, JADALAREIGN & co. will share the decks from 1PM onwards. Keep your legs moving past sunset and you’ll be rewarded with Traxx for the rest of the night. Tickets are available here. All day & night pass is $40.
Reminder: As Lovie so eloquently wrote this week:
…and a loving note to the non-Black people that enjoy these dance floors:
as with all Juneteenth celebrations, please be mindful when you enter the space as a non-Black person.
did you pay a Black American their reparations today?
contribute to the mutual aid fund for a Black trans person? call your local representative to advocate against the closure of a Black owned business?

Friday
The DIY-energy in the City seems to have returned and we’re loving it. This weekend’s edition will include Brooklyn’s finest vinyl freaks, Very J, Mr. Murray and local legend Ron Like Hell. Tickets are here for $23 and the music doesn’t stop ‘til 8AM.
Vibe: Taking the red pill and also the blue pill.
Saturday
This one’s for the girls (no fr though, like femmes-only). Barcelona-based, femme-oriented club night, MARICAS, touches down at H0L0 for the evening. I’m really shaking my fist at the gender-conforming gods that this one ain’t for me. But, ladies, get after it. Not to be missed. Tickets here are a bit pricey at this point, $40, but the music won’t stop ‘til 10AM Sunday.
Vibe: The sexiest and gayest start to your Pride month celebrations.
Sunday
Ok, boys, I didn’t forget you. Because you were a good boy last night, and stayed in, you can wake up early today. Head to Nowadays and fall under the spell of 1morning and DJ Bone. If you haven’t seen either of them play, you’re in for a treat. Expect a workout: mental, physical, otherwise.
Vibe: Wearing a sweatband Larry Bird style (out of necessity).
